I heard that live search has changed its name to bing. Is it true? Will it return the same results as live search engine of microsoft?
Answers to : Live search...
AnswerBing (formerly called as Live search) (http://www.bing.com/) is the web search engine of Microsoft. Bing has replaced Live search and went fully online on June 3, 2009. Except the name, nothing has changed.
Earlier, Microsoft rebranded its search engine several times from MSN Search, Windows Live Search. With the change in the branding, Microsoft also integrated its academic and book search results into regular search.
It has certain unique features like daily changing of background image, sublinks, enhanced views, left side navigation for effective search, search suggestion, content sectioning of results, instant update of sports, markets, automatic playing of videos by thumb nailing on them, spell check, dictionary, and ranking the results. Bing also provides information on the local conditions such as weather and traffic updates.
