What to do with used appliances?

I have some old refrigerators, washers, etc. That i need to get rid of. Where can i do this? Thanks for the help!

You can take your used appliances to a second hand store! Look at www.DexKnows.com to find a second hand store in your area that will take used appliances. They will give you a little money for them too!

If your used appliance no longer works you can take it to the dump. Many times, the dump also has a scrap metal yard where you can turn in your appliances for cash! You can call your local dump to find out. Also, you can take it to Good Will. Sometimes they can fix up your appliance and sell it.

Very soon the government is going to do a cash for appliances promotion! Watch for it online! With this you will be able to turn in your old appliances for a brand new one that is more energy efficient! This way you can get a new appliance at a deal and you can save money on your electric bill too!
