I am a great fan of heath ledger, and sad that he is no more with us. What exactly was the reason for his death?

Heath Andrew Leger was a young Australian television and film actor http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005132/ He was famous in the Australian screen for his acting before he moved to the US for pursuing film career in Hollywood. He acted in 19 films and won several critics and best actor awards.
Heath Leger was suffering from Insomnia, a sleeping disorder. During an interview with a journalist in November, 2007, Heath told that he hardly sleeps at an average of 2 hours at night. His body gets exhausted, but he couldn’t stop thinking. His mind used to work continuously. He also told that he takes Ambien pills to overcome this problem. The overdose of this drug appears to be the reason for his death in Manhattan in NY, on 22nd January, 2008.
