Can shampoo cause hair falling?
1 answersQuestion asked ( August 03, 2009 , Health )
I’ve changed the brand of shampoo i use and since then i am seeing an increase in the number of hair strands falling out. Could it be the shampoo that’s causing this? Can a shampoo that is supposed to help me improve hair quality cause such a problem?

AnswerYou are right in saying that shampoo is meant to do well to the hair and there are strict tests conducted before it is launched in to the market, to make sure that it won’t harm the people in anyway. There are of course a few cases where the person using a particular shampoo is allergic to it and therefore has some problem while using it. I order to make sure if the shampoo is the culprit one can stop using the new shampoo which you think is the trouble maker and start using the one you used before. If you still see your hair falling out then it was not the shampoo, because the effects of the shampoo should end when you stopped using it.
