Hello, I would like to know what are the nicknames of Winston Churchill. I think he had many nicknames so at least one would be good.

He was knowned to the Russians as "The British Bulldog", mainly for his tenaciousness. That name stuck with him until his death in 1965, and he is still today often referred to as the British Bulldog, as mentioned on Worldtop under The Most Influential People Ever. People close to him also called him Winnie, a popular nickname for all the people named Winston. Churchill was not only a great politician, but also a gifted amateur painter and a prolific writer. He also named an honorary citizen of the United States which President Kennedy conferred on him in 1963.
