No award dirty harry?

What could be the reason that dirty harry didn't get any award? I feel it as a masterpiece. Can anyone tell me about this?

One of the reasons may be that everybody knows the story of each part before it got released so, I think they didn't find any new thing after releasing it. And also the people are expecting more and more new thing from each episode. I think it did not fulfill them. I also feel that MY DAVID HASSELHOFF'S, MASTERPIECE, WEDDING IN PARADISE too got no awards. I think that the people who are judges for the Oscar awards have no eye for talent. It was a master piece of Clint's Magnum Opus. The movie should have won a fistful of awards.
