I have a Facebook account but for some reason i can't seem to get my Facebook.com login to work. How can I troubleshoot it?

You can find some helpful hints in an article about facebook login that may steer you in the right direction. Sometimes, you may have forgotten your password or your proper login name. That is easily remedied by just asking to be reminded by the Facebook administrators; they will send something to your email.
