Ending to the knowing?

I feel that end of the movie "the knowing" start a great religious discussion. What did you guys think of the ending to this movie?

In general, I was so disappointed with this movie. Nicolas Cage was acting crazier than I could bear and the little kids were so content with being ripped away from their parents. And what the hell I don’t know they run off into a meadow together. From a religious stand point I think the directors and the writers were out of line making those white "whisper people" like angels. They kidnapped kids and whispered to them all the time and they were pedophiles (okay maybe not that much). But I don't like idea of pale white people playing God and creating another planet to live on.
